Meet Our Faculty

DancePointe has an exceptional faculty who are committed to providing the very highest standard of dance tuition.
Due to our strong relationship with professional UK touring dance company, Chantry Dance Company, and their attached vocational education department, Chantry School, our faculty includes the professional choreographers and dancers from Chantry, who are among some of the best professional dance teachers in the UK.

ROSIE TOULMIN-ROTHE
School Principal & Studio Owner

Rosie trained in the East Midlands in Classical Ballet, Modern Theatre, Jazz, Tap and Acrobatic arts. After performing and gaining her teaching qualifications and becoming a Member of the Imperial Society for Teachers of Dancing, Rosie set up and became principal of her own school.
Whilst setting up her school Rosie worked for Lincolnshire County Council delivering children’s speech therapy within local education authorities. Rosie has formed links with secondary schools in which she is able to take students for work experience. In addition to this Rosie has helped develop a dance curriculum for children with additional needs, which is implemented in schools as part of their physical education.  
Rosie has worked with many local schools in dance and drama, choreographing for events such as ‘Rock Challenge’, pantomimes, showcases and GCSE examinations.  She has always been involved in the festival movement; first as a child and later with her own pupils.
Rosie lives in Grantham and continues working on developing her school, student coaching and choreography.

GAIL GORDON

Ballet, Modern, Acro

After an extensive performance career as a dancer and solo acrobatic act, Gail worked as a professional choreographer in London's West End and was also Head of Dance and Movement for over 30 years at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Gail now works as Dance Director for Chantry Dance Company, and Associate Director of Chantry School of Contemporary & Balletic Arts.

RAE PIPER

Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Street

Rae has enjoyed a performance career that has spanned London's West End to the Royal Opera House and beyond. She is also a professional choreographer having worked on many award-winning West End and International shows. Rae is co-Artistic Director of Chantry Dance Company, and School Director and Principal of Chantry School of Contemporary & Balletic Arts.

DAVID BEER

Ballet, Contemporary

David's performance career has included dancing in across the US and UK in contemporary companies and for numerous choreographers, as well as founding Collisions Dance Company. David is Assistant Director of Chantry Dance Company, and Associate Principal of Chantry School of Contemporary & Balletic Arts.

PAUL CHANTRY

Ballet, Boy's Ballet

Paul has danced in many major European dance houses including Sadler's Wells and the Royal Opera House. He is a professional choreographer having worked on award-winning West End and UK touring productions . Paul is co-Artistic Director of Chantry Dance Company, and Deputy Director of Chantry School of Contemporary & Balletic Arts,

ELIZABETH HASLAM

Ballet, Tap, Jazz

Liz graduated from Central School of Ballet where she performed with Northern Ballet Theatre. She went on to perform as part of the corps de ballet in ‘Aida’ with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Soloist in ‘Vis av Magi ‘ Norway. She also worked with the Miles Thomas group and Celebrity Cruises.
Elizabeth was head of ballet at the Midlands School of Dance and Drama and worked with Ballet Theatre UK for 9yrs where she was the original ballet mistress to the company.
